Yesterday afternoon Phil Vischer (founder of Big Idea Productions and creator of Veggie Tales) visited Huntington University to drop some wisdom on students about his success and failures in the animation industry. Unlike the students, I kind of missed "VeggieTales-mania" but it was still interesting to hear what Phil had to say. One of the points he made during his talk was about his hopes and dreams for what he thought Big Idea might become. The thing about dreams is eventually you have to wake up. This idea may seem like man, what a total downer, but listening to Phil's perspective and testimony there is definitely some truth to what he was saying.
