I SEE SKIES OF BLUE

It's kinda hard to believe, but my lifelong dream to work as an animator on an animated feature film has finally come true!!! It will be hard to say goodbye to all the fantastic faculty and students I have grown to love at the Art Institute of California- San Diego over the last year and a half, but this is an opportunity I HAVE to take. If I didn't, I know I would regret it for the rest of my life. I will be flying out to White Plains, New York November 1st and my first day working on Ice Age 3 will be on the 3rd. I will try to keep up on sharing all of my experineces but in the meantime I just wanted to say thank you to all my family and friends who have supported me over the years, my parents for always believing in me, and my wonderful wife for her continued support and love. I would have never made it this far without all of you!

It takes a while, but dreams can come true if you keep holding on. Never ever give up.

Ahh, Phil!

That's awesome, man. I knew it was only a matter of time. Be sure to say hi to Mike Walling and Alexiss Memmott for me. Let me know when you're settled in enough for me to come up and visit at the studio for lunch or something.

Congrats!

Phillip,

Congratulations! Our family is so proud of you and we all know how hard you've worked to get to this place in your life. We plan to see the movie together so all 11 of us can stand up and hoot and holler when we see your name on the credits. Remember to always keep reaching for the "Brass Ring"

Love and a Hug,

Linda (aunt)

Phil-

Your resume file is named wierd. It's .pdf, its not readable as is. You should change it to .pdf with no comma.

Hey thanks everyone. Sincerely! It's great to hear all of the positive feedback. I feel bad for not having said it sooner. It's been a whirlwind ever since I found out. Lots of ducks to get in a row, you know how it goes. Keep coming back. I'll be posting more for sure once I'm all set up!!!

To all of my students past and present, thanks guys. You all are awesome. Never give up. Keep at it. You guys are way ahead of me when I was where you are. You'll be kicking butt for sure in no time.

Travis,
What's up man!!! I haven't heard from you in forever! What have you been up to? Email me sometime.

Aaron,
Crazy man! I haven't talked to you in an even LONGER time than I've talked to Travis. Heck, I don't think I've talked to you since 2002? HAHA!! What's going on man!?

Daniel M.C. Alvite,
Thanks for all the comments and encouragement. Your stuff is really good. I frequent you site uhhhh frequently. Keep it going man!

Linda,
Thank you for posting your comment. I enjoyed our conversation on the phone about life, dreams, hypoglycemia and diabetes. Your wisdom and insight means more to me than you know. Loving you!
